Official Rules

The following promotion is intended for viewing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and Canada, only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States law. Do not proceed in this portion of the site if you are not a legal resident of, and located in, the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and Canada at the time of entry.

PLATINUM GUILD INTERNATIONAL AND GROOMGROOVE.COM MARRIAGE PROPOSAL STORY CONTEST

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, NOR WILL A PURCHASE IMPROVE ONE'S CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND CANADA WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Eligibility/Entries: The Platinum Guild and GroomGroove.com marriage proposal story contest is open to persons who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and Canada. Employees and independent contractors of Groove Media LLC (the "Sponsor"), its subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of each of their immediate families (spouses, parents, grandparents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each (the "Affiliates") are not eligible, nor are Affiliates (as defined above) of Platinum Guild International. Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Contest begins at 12:01:00 AM ET on September 22, 2008 and ends online at 11:59:59 PM ET on November 17, 2008 (the "Contest Period").

To enter, go to GroomGroove.com during the Contest period, click on the Platinum Guild Marriage Proposal Story contest link and complete the registration form by entering your name, email address, city, state or province, daytime phone number, wedding date and Platinum Guild Communication Preference and submit your true marriage proposal story. In order for the electronic entry to be valid, entrants must click on the "SUBMIT" button on the Web site.   Entrants must provide a valid e-mail address   and phone number to enter online. In the event of a dispute as to any entry, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry.   "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.   Proof of being the authorized account holder may be required. Online entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 PM ET on November 17, 2008. Limit one online entry per valid e-mail address. However, no "proposal story" submission is required to enter; you can enter by sending a letter by mail requesting entry to Groove Media LLC c/o Michael Arnot, 1693 2nd Avenue Suite 3S, New York, New York 10128.

All entries and any copyright, trademark or other rights in intellectual property in such entries become the property of Sponsor, and will not be returned or acknowledged. By entering a submission, entrants assign all rights, title and interest in such proposal story to the Sponsor. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries allowed. Any entry may be posted to GroomGroove.com with an unidentifiable name, such as "John D." for John Doe, and city and state or province. By entering the contest, entrants acknowledge that their entry may be posted on GroomGroove.com (in the sole discretion of the Sponsor) and becomes the property of the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to edit entries for style, grammar and length.

2. Judging: In the sole discretion of the Sponsor, One Prize Winner will be selected from the entries as having submitted the best and most interesting, verifiably true and correct marriage proposal story at the termination of the Contest Period. The winner will be determined by Groove Media LLC, the judge of this Contest, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. The Sponsor will determine the winner based on quality of writing and which entry is the most unique or interesting. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email within 30 days of the termination of the Contest Period. The Sponsor may request independent verification of the truthfulness of the marriage proposal story.

3. Prize and Odds: One (1) entrant will win one (1) set of two (2) Platinum Wedding bands valued at $4300, which is the total value of the prizes. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of entries received. No substitutions are possible.

4. Limitations of Liability: Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, postage-due or mutilated entries by mail, any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions, delays or human errors that occur in the processing, transmission or receipt of entries, or for inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, lost or delayed by computer transmissions or any injury or damage to persons or property, including, but not limited to, entrants' computers, hardware and/or software, which may be caused directly, or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants' participation in the Contest or receipt, redemption or use of any prize. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor also reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be violating these Official Rules or suspected of attempting to disrupt or defraud the entry process or the operation of the Contest, and Sponsor may prosecute or seek other legal redress against anyone suspected of engaging in these acts. Use of any products or prizes presented to the winner is in the sole discretion of the winner and the Sponsor expressly disclaims any liability for injury or harm from use of such products.

5. Prize Acceptance: Prizes are not transferable or assignable. No substitution or cash redemption allowed except by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prizes become unavailable. All taxes, including federal, state and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of winners who may be issued an IRS 1099 tax form (winners are advised to seek independent counsel regarding prize winnings).   Winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity (where permitted) within fourteen (14) days of notification. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days after the first attempt to contact the potential winner, if the potential winner does not sign and return the Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity (where permitted) in the required time period, or if a prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be deemed forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries received. By accepting prizes, winners consent to use of name, state of residence and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes online and in print, or in any other media worldwide in connection with the Contest, without limitation and without additional compensation worldwide, except where prohibited by law. By accepting prizes, winners further agree to release Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (the "Contest Parties"), from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with winners' participation in this Contest, or with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize.

6. Entrant's Personal Information: Information collected from entrants online are subject to Sponsor's privacy policy. In addition to any prize notifications, Sponsor may transfer an online entrant's name, address, telephone, email and wedding date to Platinum Guild for their future promotional and marketing purposes in accordance with Sponsor's privacy policy. For the avoidance of doubt, such solicitations are the sole responsibility of Platinum Guild.

7. Official Rules: To request a copy of the Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by November 17, 2008 to Groove Media LLC Contest Rules, c/o Michael Arnot, 1693 2nd Avenue #3S, New York, New York 10128.

8. Winners List:   The winner will be announced via GroomGroove.com subsequent to the termination of the Contest.
