Your wedding flowers, music, photography, video or any preparation of your ceremony can all be handled by phone or even online. A
Las Vegas Wedding Is Cheaper On the other hand, if you want a more stylish wedding with all the bells and whistles, you can expect to pay up to a few thousand dollars depending on the package you choose. Nonetheless, compared to a do-it-yourself traditional wedding, which averages around $22,000, you've saved yourself a bundle. article continues...[Page 1 of 2]

We are getting married at Ceasar's Palace at their Venus Gardens and nothing about it is CHEESY!!! It will be romantic and beautiful. It will be the most amazing day ever. When we get back we are having a reception with family and friends. Since the wedding in Vegas will only be imediate family only.
Vegas hater
It is sooo tacky to get married in Vegas. So tacky.

Everyone has their opinion. We are getting married in Vegas in a small chapel with close friends - then we are going out to party!! Got a suite with a spa and we are set!! We are also having another ceramony at home with family but just to apeeze them.

I have considered getting married in Vegas! I would road trip out with the fiance, our best man, and maid of honor. If anyone else wanted to join they could go all in together and we could caravan out. A big party weekend! And if the Family's we not happy that we ran off, then we could just have a reception on our first anniversary, play the video and those that want to celebrate the wedding can then :D, but then again i am not the only one getting married so a lot would depend on if my fiance even wants to do this!

OMG I would NEVER get married in Vegas. How unromantic ............. and that's all I have to say about that.

This is not the the case even though most feel that it is. We are getting married in November and it will be in Las Vegas, where we live. It is getting to be on the expensive side with the chapel and true they are willing to do all the work for us, but at the same time it is getting up there in the cost. But it is cheaper then the wedding we were planning for the Northern California venue we had first thought about. We are having a semi formal wedding with some of our friends, and of course there is the reception to follow. Now that is where it gets on the touchy side, we are having two of them one here and one in the Northern California area to celebrate with the family members that could not attend.

We were just married in Las Vegas around Christmas in the Special Moments Chapel. The pkg we chose included a limo and 20 pictures. We upgraded to a real bouquet of flowers for the bride and bridesmaid, but the day of the wedding the bride's bouquet wasn't there. To make up for the flowers the chapel kicked in a CD, candle light ceremony and 5 extra pictures, but that didn't makeup for the bouquet that I had wanted and searched for weeks inadvance for. So, my suggestion for future brides is.... if you want your own REAL bouquet, go to a florist and buy it so you know you'll have it the day of your wedding.

Who cares if its cheesy? If the couple doesn't mind getting married in vegas, then it should be no problem. The family might look down upon them and say things like, "Why didn't you get married here with a church and both the sides of the family..." etc. If you are in love, go for it!

Why not? You can save yourself a bundle of cash, have a laugh and you're on the doorstep to your honeymoon! I think it's a great idea and so what if it's cheesy, it's just for a bit of fun.

Just like the picture on page 2, I've always found the idea of getting married in vegas to be really cheesy. and i don't think it matters if its at a chapel or on the gondola at the Venetian. cheese cheese cheese
