propose at the empire state building
If the groom really wants to make a marriage proposal to remember, there’s nothing quite like proposing at the top of the Empire State Building. 1,472 feet off the ground (including the radio antenna) a marriage proposal atop this landmark may just sweep both the groom and bride’s feet off the ground as well. Taking up a whole city block, the Empire State Building on giant wedding prop, seemingly. The view is perfect and made for wedding proposals. Here’s how to make one yourself, with some insider tips to make the proposal go smoothly.
How to turn your girlfriend into your fiancee, courtesy of a New York City landmark First, organize a pre-nuptial trip to New York. Whether you live in London, Boise, Wichita or Miami, a trip to New York is not as hard as you may think. Many cities have direct flights there, and most major train services make Penn and Grand Central Stations their final stop. Each season has a different draw; Winter in NY is spectacular with all of the lights and the Tree at Rockefeller Center, shops all open late for the holidays. Spring and summer are the best times for a canoe ride in Central Park when the flowers are blooming. Fall is when fewer tourists are around and all the leaves are changing before your eyes. You can take in the sights and sounds of Broadway, and set everything up for the perfect marriage proposal. You could even buy your diamond engagement ring in New York’s fabled diamond district. Check the weather at the top The prospective groom should check the weather in advance. A marriage proposal isn’t as fun when it’s pouring rain, much less so when you are 1000 feet above the ground. Nor is the view from the Empire State Building quite as spectacular when it’s cloudy, foggy or freezing. It can be hot and muggy in the summer time and cold in the winter time. But during proposal season, which is roughly between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the weather is typically sunny and crisp. That’s the time to do it. When to make the wedding proposal Next, check the hours of operation. Ok, we’ll just make it easy for you: 8:00 am until 2:00 am daily with the last elevator going up at 1:15am.That’s 365 days a year, with exceptions for holidays. But you’ll figure that out in advance, right? We can't make it too easy on you! Ideally, you’ll want to arrive at the top with about 45 minutes of daylight left. Why? This way, you can enjoy the pre-marital views by day, during the sunset and at night. It’s really three different views for the price of one. Thx for all these information. In fact I was wondering where to put the engagement rings. The solution of that problem is so simple i should have figured it out by myself.
But why are you always writing about the groom proposing? I'll be the bride and i'll ask my man when we're in NYC in November.

how many proposals do you get in a year?
