I took her to a great Asian Bistro on Las Olas Blvd in Ft Lauderdale. We had a great dinner with wine, great food, and dessert. Then I took her down to the beach where we took our shoes off and walked along the beach for a while. It was a bit chilly so we cuddled up sitting on a lifeguard stand listening to the waves and looking at the stars. We started to walk back to the car when I grabbed her and kissed her. I got down on one knee in the sand and pulled the ring from my pocket. I looked up at her and said will you marry me, and be with me forever. She couldn’t believe it. She started to cry and let out a great YES!! Her hand was trembling as I slipped the ring on her finger. Previously I had my best friend and her best friend reserve a party at her favorite bar in Ft. Lauderdale. We had our families and our closest friends show up. We had about 35 people in all, and pictures. It was a great surprise for her to see her family and friends there to celebrate on her night. It was a night to remember!!
