The term “proposal season” isn’t necessarily something the average Joe bandies about over happy hour beer, but - and especially amidst economic crisis - this is a term that retailers are hoping will still be relevant in 2008-2009. The holiday season typically doubles for a very popular time to pop the question. This usually involved purchasing a ring, sometimes travel or dining out, and then often sparks the wedding planning planning process with various associated costs involved. So if you’re thinking about proposing this season, (if your wallet allows), just know that you’re doing a very good deed, indeed!
