Best Man, bachelor party, groom, grooms

Bachelor party for the more “mature” groom

You’re not twenty two anymore. Or maybe you’ve done this whole wedding thing once before. You and your groomsmen are past the point of “partying like it’s 1999″ already, but they still want to throw a bachelor party in your honor. Now no one says your bachelor party has to something straight out of Animal House, but discrepancies can arise when your idea of a bachelor party diverges from your buddies’. Traditionally, the best man and groomsman plan the bachelor party for the groom and there is usually some element of surprise, however, (and this is a big however!) at a certain point - and Groom Groove recommends being proactive - the groom needs to step in and do some quality assurance. There’s nothing wrong, or even remotely insulting, about communicating visions, hopes, restrictions, and if a woman jumps out of a cake, my fiancee will hunt you down “s”. The more ideas or parameters you communicate to your best man, the happier you will all be with the outcome, including your bride-to-be.
