She was whisked away for a weekend of debauchery and tomfoolery with 21 of her girl friends this past weekend. There was to be no communication between my bride-to-be and myself, she was on her Stagette Weekend with the ladies, and they were not to be interrupted.
Thursday night my fiancé was shipped off to a tame Bridal Shower, that I am sure involved finger sandwiches; cosmo’s and jokes about every guy they know.
Friday morning the ladies drove 4 hours outside of the city and the partying ensued.
From themed costumes to multiple shots made up of lord knows what, the girls were out in fine fashion to live it up. Judging from the pictures they seem to have had a lot of fun, a few celebrity sightings, a few photos with the local law enforcement, a blow up parrot, and then a trip to Denny’s at 3am, these 21 girls did a stagette justice. They partied, and partied hard.
My Bride-to be returned home last night with a voice like a rabid Nascar fan after a weekend in Daytona, more gifts than I’ve ever received combining all my childhood Christmas’, and enough left over booze to put an NBA starting line-up under the table.
So gentlemen we’ve got a lot to live up to, the ladies went big, we must go LARGE.
