Wedding guests

It’s inevitable that there are some people show up at your wedding either uninvited (and typically because they thought they were invited) or that RSVP at the last minute. Most reception venues have a deadline for you to firm up numbers for the reception, with additional costs to add plates at the last minute. It happens. Be ready for it. In fact, that’s where your best man comes in. He’s the one that you should tell that one of your guests brought a date that you hadn’t expected. It’s not that you need to make a scene, but while you’re busy greeting guests, your best man can get the caterers or reception hall to add an extra plate. No one will be the wiser.
