One of the guys at GroomGroove.com had an alcohol-free wedding. Instead, he and his bride served a sparkling fruit wine from his home town for the toast. Granted, the wedding was held during the day, with a brunch rather than an evening reception. Why? In part, to save costs, but mostly because the wedding was held during the day and booze wasn’t really needed. They “compensated” by serving a ton of juice, water and punch and hors d’oeuvres, and the meal was pretty great, apparently. Is a “no alcohol wedding” cool, or a bit cheap?
