If you’re like me you’ve already had to put yourself through a strict budgetary process to get where you are today, ENGAGED. Well I am hoping to use what I have learned from the engagement ring cash pooling of fun, and apply it to the massive expense that is, the wedding. Right off the bat I’ve been lucky, my bride to be is all about splitting stuff 50/50 which helps and truly makes this an even stevens event. With a budget set, it has been much easier for me to work my personal expenses, monthly, weekly and even daily. Lets be honest, this is all dictated by the wedding you want to have and the money you are able to make available for it. Whether you’re planning on spending $10,000 or $80,000 you should establish a budget, and attempt to keep things 50/50, that way it is easy to resolve disputes as you’re both investing the same amount into your big day. Be smart with your cash, don’t serve the lamb if you can only afford the chicken, don’t pop bottles of champagne all night if you can only afford a colt 45. Keep it real with your money, have fun with the process, make smart decisions with your money, and you’ll be setting yourself up for a great wedding and a happy few months to follow that won’t involve you trying to sell your baseball cards to help pay for the 12 tier cake, that no one ate.
