Managing the guest list

Managing the wedding guest list is a big deal. If you’re a groom, you might not figure that out until you’re forced to trim friends that you’d like to invite but may not be able to because of your wedding budget or the size of your wedding. Your teammate on the city-league basketball team? He might be a great friend, but it might be hard to fit him, and his wife, in. (Decisions, decisions!) This all becomes more clear once you realize that your guest list is basically halved (ie. split with your lovely bride), and may even be further reduced if your parents or her parents want a slice. Try to figure out the guest list as soon as possible to avoid wedding planning tension.
