I had a great chat with my soon to be Mother-in-law last night, and it was ACTUALLY really enjoyable. My Bride-to-be was off at the gym, so her mother and I chatted for a good 20 minutes and spoke about anything and everything to do with the wedding, it was great.
After I hung up I realised that I’ve got it pretty good. I don’t have to deal with the Mother-in-law from hell, or deal with a woman that will constantly be nagging me about one thing or the other. My new MOM is awesome, and I can see where my Fiancé gets her personality from. Her mother is funny, super charming, and very easy to get along with.
Am I concerned things could change? Sure I am but for the moment I am really looking forward to spending more time with my Fiancés entire family…. alright maybe not all of them, there is one cousin that freaks me out and drools when he talks.
I am a lucky guy, I’ve got an unreal Fiancé, and I am going to be getting another great Mom…does this seem to good to be true?
Like my Father says “If it seems to good to be true, it probably is”….
