Groom changing his name?

We’re writing this blog post in response to brides and grooms who’ve been commenting on our article about name changes - that is - the bride changing her name to his family name. The idea was floated that a guy could potentially change his name to hers. Umm, no. While that may happen from time to time (Got a story? Let’s hear it) it would be considered odd for most men. That doesn’t mean that its wrong or taboo, but it does qualify as odd and will likely subject the groom to ridicule. Particularly in the workplace or, as one reader suggests, at poker night!
