Today, the 24th of August leaves me sitting 12 days away from becoming a married man. Twelve days from now I plan on sending my Bride-to-be some gorgeous flowers and….. her wedding gift. A little something she can open before she finishes putting of her makeup.
This gift has been a tough one for me, and I am going to do it, but there are just so many options out there, and really is there ever a moment where you feel the need to give “THE perfect gift” more so than now?? Probably not.
So with most of my savings, and extra bonus from work being thrown into the bar, the tux, the dress, the photographer, the videographer, and the invites… there has never been a time where I have had to be so budget savvy.
With a budget in mind I am confident I will have the ability to blow here away, it may not be the traditional pearl necklace that I am sure most ladies would love to receive but I am confident she will be impressed and touched by my thoughtfulness…I hope.
12 days from now, nine months of prep will come to and end. My Bride-to-be has worked really hard over that time and I hope I can show her with a simple gift that I not only appreciate all the work she has done but how much I appreciate her as my partner through all of it.
