August 8, 2008 Wedding

Our heartfelt congrats to the folks who picked August 8, 2008 - that’s 8-8-08 - for their wedding. Here in New York we were under sunny skies. Apparently, in China, some 8,000 couples got married today, as they believe the number 8 to be a very very lucky number. 8 in Mandarin is pronounced “bah” which is very similar to the Mandarin word for success. The guys at Groom Groove don’t speak Mandarin, but we’re happy none the less for all the folks born today.
