102 days from now…

I will be a few hours away from taking the leap, tying the knot, getting hitched, and honestly I am pretty calm, cool and collected about the whole thing. I am sure over time that will change, with added pressure of having a wedding on the other side of the Canada; logistically there will be a lot of things, last minute that will require my attention. At this very moment though, just under four months away from the wedding, everything is good. We’ve booked our dj, so the tunes are set. Our photographer has been chosen and is well aware of the bride’s desires for the wedding day images. Pretty much every major vendor that you can think of has been taken care of. I know this blog isn’t necessarily meant to be an advice column, but if I can offer some crucial information to my fellow grooms, or grooms-to-be, BE PROACTIVE. Don’t treat your wedding like your university statistics exam, leaving things until the last minute will only make your life more difficult. By taking advantage of the time you have to plan and book, the more likely you are to ride the wave of wedding bliss to your big day with your beautiful, AND happy bride. Besides, no one likes having to take a statistics course twice right?
