We get a lot of requests from grooms and brides wondering whether they should write their own wedding vows. We generally smile and say: “What a nice idea; Go for it!”. We lied. It definitely is a nice idea, but the prospect of flubbing your lines is very great. The poor groom and bride are going to be nervous nellies on wedding day, with even the best rehearsed lines often disappearing from the mind when called upon.
