Wedding night “performance” pressure

10.07.08 | Comment?

Weddings come with enough pressure as it is. The pressure to invite all the right people; the pressure to pick the perfect ceremony and reception locations; the pressure to play the best music; the pressure to look your best and nothing like a fool while walking down the aisle and saying your vows. Once that’s all over, it should be time to relax, right? Well, yes and no. Once you and your new wife are finally alone and you’ve kicked your shoes off, it’s time to “consummate” the marriage. And even if the bride and groom have been dating for years before the wedding, there is the pressure to make wedding night sex the best of your lives together so far. Groom Groove’s advice to grooms is to try to take some of the pressure off. It’s going to be a long day and you’ve got your whole lives ahead of you. Go with what feels right and natural and try not to let the pressure of the day get the better of you both.
