For You and Your Bride: Understanding The Groom’s Duties

Guys, let’s face it; the bride is the bossy lady. She has the vision and knows all of the tasks that need to be checked off of the list in order to make the vision a reality. What your bride (and you) may not know is that there is a lot for the groom to potentially do, and the more you can take off of her plate, the less stressed she will be. (In other words, the greater her chances of NOT becoming a BrideZilla!)  The groom’s duties are variable, but generally include: participating in the creation of the guest list, choosing venues, choosing and organizing the best man and groomsmen, arranging tuxedo or suit fittings, arranging wedding transportation, preparing a wedding speech, taking marriage prep classes, participating in the wedding registry, taking the lead on the rehearsal dinner and honeymoon, budgeting, to name a few.
